This page explains how to delete your account in the KSight app. The developer of KSight is PT Wintech Solusi Sportsindo.
Before you delete your account, cancel your subscription if you have one. Deleting your account does not cancel it. See "Cancel your subscription first" below.
Three ways to delete your account
1. In the app
- Open KSight and sign in.
- Open Profile.
- Tap Settings, at the top left.
- Tap "Delete my account", under Sign out.
- Read what the app says, then tap "Delete my account" again.
The app signs you out only after our server says the delete is done.
2. On this page, with an email code
Coming soon. You will be able to sign in on this page with a 6-digit code that we send to your email, and delete your account here. Until then, use the app or email.
3. By email
- Write to Founder: support email from the email address of your KSight account.
- Say that you want to delete your KSight account.
- We reply to that address to check that the request comes from you.
- Answer our reply to confirm.
We delete your account within 7 days after you confirm.
What the app asks you
Before it deletes your account, the app shows these words:
This deletes your swings, your swing videos, your stick figures, your clubs and your sign-in, for good. It cannot be undone. A swing model we already trained cannot be un-trained.
If you pay for KSight on iPhone, the app also shows:
You still pay for KSight through the App Store. Deleting your account does not stop that. Cancel it first, or Apple keeps charging you.
What we delete
- your account and your sign-in,
- your profile and your clubs,
- your swings, all swing videos and still pictures,
- stick figures and coach words,
- radar shots,
- your bay pairing,
- your consent choices,
- training copies of your swing videos.
We delete them at once. If a file arrives late, we delete it within 1 hour.
What we keep, and why
| What we keep | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|
| A deletion mark with two ids and a time | So a late upload cannot create your data again | 7 days |
| The sign-in log, which holds your email and account id | Our sign-in service keeps a log of sign-in events | Founder: log and backup retention |
| A server log line with your ids | It records the delete | Founder: log and backup retention |
| Backups | They hold a copy of past data until they expire | Founder: log and backup retention |
| Purchase records | Apple and Google keep their own records of your purchases | Set by Apple or Google |
| Tax records | Only if the law asks us to keep them | As long as the law asks |
| Swing models we already trained | A trained model cannot forget | We cannot remove your part from a trained model |
We also keep daily totals of AI use. They do not name you.
If Apple sends us news about your old subscription after you delete your account, we do not store it.
Data on your phone
Free plan swings, drawings and voice-overs live only on your phone. Pictures you saved to Photos stay in Photos. Deleting your account does not remove them. They stay on your phone until you remove them, for example when you delete the app.
Cancel your subscription first
Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. The store keeps charging you until you cancel.
On iPhone:
- In KSight: open Profile, tap Settings, tap Subscription, then tap "Manage subscription".
- Or in the iPhone Settings app: tap your name, then Subscriptions.
On Android:
- Open the Google Play subscriptions page: play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions, choose KSight and cancel.
Cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
